Welcome to The Dojo. The word Dojo is Japanese term that translates to training hall or place.
Here at The Dojo we train in the traditional self-defense system of the Samurai.
Training in the disciplines of Daitoryu Aikibudo, Goshin Aikijujutsu, Jujutsu, Karate, Kobudo, Women Self-defense, Qigong, Reiki Budo. Classes are offered for kids ,teens, adults, seniors.
Grandmaster Robert Fields 10th Degree Black Belt is the owner / operator.
Grandmaster Fields received the award of Grandmaster of the year (2003 ) from the prestigious
World Head of Family Sokeship Council.
Grandmaster Fields is also a member of the Daitokai International and serves as one of the
highest ranked instructors in the United States, under the Direction of Antonino Certa Shihan in Milan, Italy. Certa Shihan was a direct student of Tokimune Soke, and a Shihan in the direct line of the Sōkaku Takeda Samurai Clan.

Martial Art Styles represented in the USDF

Goshin Jutsu

The meaning of the Japanese term Goshin Jutsu translates to self defense. This is the term that serves as an umbrella for all of the traditional disciplines of the various martial arts in our system.

Daito-Ryu

Daito-Ryu is an ancient martial art that is the basis for Aikido, Kenjutsu, Aiki-Budo, and many other contemporary martial arts. It was the art of the Samurai warrior.

Shotokan Karate

Shotokan Karate is a Japanese art founded by Gichin Funakoshi. It is basically a stand up art with kata, kihon and kumite.

Tokuiten Shotokan Karate Club

Aikido

Aikido was founded by Morihei Ueshiba, often referred to as O-Sensei. Aikido does not rely on strength and size but rather on movement techniques and timing that means you can learn and master it no matter what age or gender.

Reiki Budo

This is a Japanese self healing art that utilizes the universal energies known as ki or Chi. The ( budo ) meaning martial arts also demonstrates the cultivations and testing of the development of ki or Chi.
